On August 17th the City Council of Spruce Grove passed unanimously in all three readings of ByLaw C-715-09.
The operative section of Bylaw C-715-09 states: “18.1 No third party recordings of Council, Committee of the Whole, or Council Committee proceedings will be allowed, except as approved by the City Manager.”
What do you think?
Recordings and Video taping is allowed and encouraged in Edmonton and St.Albert, they even provide live feeds and broadcast them.
Why not Spruce Grove?

By 7:30 this evening I received an email from the Mayor that he has directed the City Administration to look into this further.
